I wouldn’t recommend Magic Mufflers for any service or repair. There price estimates will get you into the shop assuming you are getting a good deal and then they will haggle you with other cost associated with the work that are irrelevant or an imaginary experience they believe occurred in the past that they believe is in your best interest. Mike the bald head associate, was the guy I was working with and made the experience very uncomfortable. He gave off the vibes as if I’ve never seen or worked on a car or had no idea what i was taking about…. Kinda of like that feeling of ripping off a naive person that doesn’t know about cars… I do believe I’m paying for the service and unfortunately due to my busy schedule, disability and life I fell victim too his strong haggling tactics for my exhaust system. YES I over paid for a bolt on exhaust that should have cost 250$ but I ended up paying 490$ for an additional 200$ of a so called bolt on work ( no modifications ) with TAX on work (lol) and 3.5 credit card use. Mike was awesome! I got my AC fixed for a fraction of the price that was quoted to me at another shop. They have great communication and explained everything to me so I knew at all times what was happening. So so so impressed with the service!

It is so hard to find an honest mechanic, but Magic Muffler & Brake is the real deal. I took my car in thinking I needed a whole new exhaust system, but they found a small leak, fixed it quickly, and saved me hundreds of dollars. They are transparent about their pricing and don't try to upsell you on things you don't need. This is now the only shop I’ll take my vehicles to in El Paso!

I am very happy about their service. First I took my car over for a break change, unfortunately I have to sale that car due to mechanical problems. But after change the break, it was running smoothly, no problem breaking. Then I took in my other old car that start squeaking, and thought it needed new break. Surprisingly, they were honestly told me the break was not the best that's made by ceramic or something like, that it still have a good miles, just going to keep the noise. They could easily tell me that my break is not good and charge me for something I did not need. When I brought a new car again, and making noise when breaking. I took this third car in. Showed them my concern, and asked questions. They were patient, and honest! Again explain the situation and tell me that I am good for another 4 years.

Mike and his team are amazing! I had called the week prior to get an estimate and he gave me a close to spot on price. While I was there, Mike did not beat around the bush. He offered me tons of options and got the work done quickly once I decided. My 98 K1500 had a hole in the exhaust and the muffler needed replacing. Mike and his team took my truck in first thing (It was first come, first serve and I was there early). They invited me under the truck to better see the issues and discuss my options. The work was done professionally and quickly, and my truck sounds great. A very big thank you to Mike and his Team at Magic Muffler.
